Connect your own brand data sources directly. No more tickets, no more waiting — your insights are now fully in your hands.

Your data. Your brand. Your insights — on demand.

Insights is now fully self-serve. Connect your own brand data sources directly — no more waiting on the data team, no more tickets, no more back-and-forth.

Plug in your accounts, map your brands, and start exploring performance in minutes. Every metric, every trend, every segment — all powered by your own data, refreshed in real time.

This is Insights the way it was meant to be: fast, flexible, and fully in your hands.

The Way It Used to Be

Until today, getting your brand data into Insights meant going through us.

You'd raise a ticket. Wait for someone on the data team to read it, prioritize it, queue it. Then exchange spreadsheets, share access tokens, debug failed imports, and finally — maybe a few days later — see your dashboard come alive.

If something changed, you'd start over.

For agencies juggling multiple brands and dozens of campaigns, that workflow was the single biggest bottleneck to actually using Insights. The data was there. The dashboards were there. But the gap in the middle slowed everything down.

That gap is now closed.

What's New

From today, you can connect, configure, and explore — entirely on your own.

Connect Paid Media in one click. Meta Business and TikTok Ads now use OAuth-based authentication. Log in with your existing platform credentials, pick the ad accounts you want to track, and you're done. No more sharing access tokens. No more access requests in your DMs.

👉 Connecting Paid Media →

Connect Owned Media just as fast. Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts work the same way. Authorize once, choose your time window (1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or custom), and frndOS pulls in your full post history — including comments, replies, and engagement, all the way down.

👉 Connecting Owned Media →

Bring in Earned Media and ATL via Google Sheets. For channels without direct API access — influencer coverage, PR, TV ratings, print, programmatic ads — connect your data through Google Sheets with a few clicks. Use our sample sheet templates, or bring your own structure. frndOS auto-maps your columns and you take it from there.

👉 Connecting Earned Media & ATL →

See everything together. Once connected, your Overview tab unifies it all — Paid, Owned, Earned, and ATL — into a single funnel view. Filter by awareness, consideration, conversion. Switch brands with one click. Compare always-on performance to specific campaigns.

What You Can Do Now That You Couldn't Before

The self-serve model changes how you work with data, not just how you connect it.

Onboard a new brand in minutes, not days. Got a new client? Add the brand, connect the data sources, and you're producing insights the same afternoon. Demos, pitches, and quarterly reviews don't have to wait for backend setup.

Tag and organize on your own terms. Define custom labels — campaign, content pillar, objective, sub-campaign — and tag your posts in bulk or one by one. Use those tags to filter, group, and build campaign-specific reports that match how your team actually thinks.

👉 Understanding Owned Media & Content Labels →

Iterate fast. Realized you need different KPI targets, a different funnel definition, or a different reporting cut? Change it yourself. The dashboard updates. No ticket, no thread, no delay.

Stay in real time. Connected accounts sync daily — automatically, in the background, starting each evening. If you need fresher data, force a sync on demand. Your insights stay as current as your campaigns.

A Quick Walkthrough

Here's the full self-serve flow, end to end:

Pick your brand from the top-left brand selector — or create a new one

Open Insights and choose the media type you want to connect (Paid, Owned, Earned, ATL)

Authorize via OAuth (for Meta, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram) or paste a Google Sheet URL (for Earned and ATL)

Select the accounts or data ranges you want to pull in

Wait for the sync — initial connections finish in minutes to a few hours depending on data volume

Tag your content to unlock campaign-level reporting

Explore the dashboards — Overview, Paid, Owned, Earned, ATL, Campaign

The first five steps usually take under ten minutes. By the time you finish your coffee, you're already inside the data.

A Few Things Worth Knowing

Brand permissions are respected. If you have Full Access to a brand, you can connect data sources for it. View-only users can explore dashboards but not change connections. This keeps the right boundaries in place when teams share workspaces.

One connection per platform, per brand — for now. Each brand currently supports one Meta connection and one TikTok Ads connection. If you handle a brand with multiple ad accounts, you can connect one at a time. Multi-account support is in active development.

X (Twitter) is not yet available. Direct X integration requires platform-specific approvals that we're still working through. Stay tuned.

Sync notifications are coming. For now, check the last updated timestamp on each connection to confirm fresh data. We're working on push and chat notifications for sync completion in an upcoming release.

Head to Insights and Connect Your First Brand

This is the start, not the end. With data flowing self-serve, we can now move much faster on what comes next: automated monthly reports, dynamic KPI configuration, deeper social listening overlays, AI-powered analysis through AskFrnd.

For now, the action is simple. Open Insights. Connect a brand. Start exploring.

If you hit a snag, your agency onboarding group is the fastest path to help. And as always — your feedback shapes what we build next, so send it our way.

Your creative OS, reimagined. Explore every corner.

We're thrilled to officially launch frndOS — a smarter, faster, and more connected workspace built for how modern creative teams actually work.

From Studio to Research to Insights, every pillar has been refined to help you move from idea to execution with less friction. New workflows, sharper tools, and a cleaner experience across the board.

Take your time. Click around. Break things (gently). Every update is designed to give you more creative leverage — so enjoy the ride and make something great.

Why 2.0

The first version of frndOS proved the idea: AI-powered tools for creative work, with brand context baked in from the start. It worked. Teams used it. Campaigns shipped faster.

But it was also clear where the seams showed. Tools that felt powerful but disconnected. Workflows that needed too many handoffs. A platform that almost let you stay in one place — but not quite.

2.0 closes those gaps. It's the same vision, executed end-to-end.

Three pillars. One brand brain. One workspace. Every tool aware of the others.

🎨 Studio — Refined for Production

Studio is where ideas become assets. In 2.0, every Studio tool now lives in a unified, brand-aware workspace — and they actually talk to each other.

KV Generator is the centerpiece. Generate Key Visuals from concept to craft, with Sketch mode for fast ideation and Craft mode for production-ready refinement. New Bounding Box editing lets you target specific areas of the canvas for targeted changes. Version history is built in — nothing you generate is ever lost.

👉 Creating Your First Key Visual →

Image Editor for fine-tuning visuals beyond what the generator produces. Resizer adapts your finalized KV to every platform — feed, story, banner, custom — in a single step. No starting over.

👉 Studio Overview →

The whole flow is now brand-aware by default. Every generation inherits your Brand Knowledge. Every variation respects your visual identity. Less prompting, more creating.

📊 Insights — Now Fully Self-Serve

Insights gets a complete rework. The biggest change: it's self-serve.

Connect Paid Media (Meta Business, TikTok Ads), Owned Media (Facebook, Instagram), Earned Media (via Google Sheets), and ATL (TV, print, OOH) directly — no tickets, no waiting. OAuth handles authentication for ad platforms. Sample sheet templates make Google-Sheets-based imports painless. Sync runs daily, automatically.

Once connected, your dashboards unify everything into a single funnel view — awareness, consideration, conversion — across every channel. Switch brands with a click. Compare always-on performance to specific campaigns. Tag your content with custom labels for richer reporting.

👉 Insights Overview →

We covered the full self-serve story in its own announcement — check it out for the deep dive.

👉 Brand Insights Goes Self-Serve →

🔍 Research — Built Into the Workflow

Research in 2.0 isn't a separate destination. It's woven into the flow.

Set up A/B tests for your creative directions before committing. Run general surveys to validate audience assumptions. Define and analyze audience segments with structured tooling. Test creative in a Creative Lab environment. Or call on the Deep Research Agent when you need a question answered without doing the digging yourself.

The point isn't to add more tools. The point is to make audience understanding a habit, not a project — something you reach for as naturally as you reach for the KV Generator.

The Foundation: Brand Knowledge & Projects

The pillars are powerful. What makes them work together is what sits underneath.

Brand Knowledge is your brand's brain in frndOS — DNA, Identity, Tonality — configured once and applied everywhere. Upload a PDF brand guideline and frndOS maps it automatically. Adjust at any time. Every tool downstream stays consistent.

👉 Setting Up Your Brand Profile →

Projects are how campaigns stay organized. Each project carries its own brief, audience, direction, and tone — and can override brand-level settings when a campaign needs to break from the norm. KVs, reports, and references all live inside the project that birthed them.

👉 Creating & Managing Projects →

Together, they're what makes Studio, Research, and Insights feel like one platform instead of three.

AskFrnd — Your AI Assistant, Everywhere

AskFrnd is the conversational layer that ties everything together. Ask questions about your brand, your campaigns, your performance — and get answers grounded in your actual data and Brand Knowledge.

It's already live inside Insights for analyzing posts and campaigns ("what are my top 3 posts this month?", "why did this campaign outperform that one?"). It's growing into the rest of frndOS — show up wherever you'd otherwise need to dig.

This is what AI in a creative OS should feel like: not a chatbot bolted on the side, but a real assistant that knows your work.

Multi-Brand, Built In

If you're at an agency, you're not handling one brand — you're handling many. 2.0 was built with that as the default, not the edge case.

Switch between brands from the top-left brand selector. Each brand has its own independent Brand Knowledge, Projects, Insights data, and assets. Permissions are per-brand — Full Access for the teams that own a brand, View-Only for those who just need visibility.

👉 Managing Multiple Brands →

No more separate workspaces. No more juggling logins. One account, many brands, clear boundaries.

A Cleaner, Faster Experience

Under the hood, 2.0 is faster. On the surface, it's cleaner.

The homepage now centers on what's actually happening — your active brands, your work in progress, what's new. Navigation is simpler. The visual language is calmer. Less chrome, more content.

Every tool you used in v1 is still here, just better positioned and better connected. Nothing's hidden — but nothing's in your way either.

What's Next

This is the launch, not the finish line. The 2.0 foundation unlocks things we've been waiting to build:

Auto-generated monthly and quarterly campaign reports — set up once, delivered automatically

Dynamic KPI configuration — pick which data sources feed which metrics

Social listening overlays in campaign timelines — connect ATL launches to conversation spikes

AskFrnd MCP integration — analyze your own data, in your own tools, with your own questions

Multi-account connections per platform per brand — connect every ad account in one place

We'll be shipping these over the coming weeks and months. Each one builds on the foundation that 2.0 puts in place.

Make Something Great

That's the whole pitch. Better tools, less friction, more time for the work that matters.

Open frndOS. Walk through the new homepage. Set up your first brand if you haven't yet. Generate a KV. Connect your data. Ask AskFrnd a question. See what's different.

And as you find what works — and what doesn't — tell us. 2.0 isn't the end of the road. It's the version we want to keep evolving with you.
